This month you loved… Elle Kemp and Martin Gane’s renovation of a Victorianera pig barn in the Cotswolds, UK (above left), with one reader describing the end result as “exceptional”. Rae and Gavin Hamilton’s Pt Wells house (above right) was also a hit, with one person calling it a “beautiful, elegant home”, particularly admiring the couple’s art. “[It’s] my dream to own an original piece by Karl Maughan.”

I’ve just finished reading your May and June editions. Wow. The Bryants’ Feilding home (right) is such an inspiration. They must be thrilled with the results of daring to be different. I love the floating concrete staircase and the moody, dark bathroom tiles. My husband bought me a NZ House & Garden subscription for Christmas last year as we are in the process of designing a new home. We have renovated three houses, but this will be our first time building. Your magazine has become both a blessing and a curse! I’ve had so much inspiration from every issue.
