Hanging tool rack

You will need

• 1 pallet

• 8 x 70mm screws used to attach the two shelves

• 1 extra pallet top deck board (deck boards run across the top of the pallet) to use as a door • 1 cupboard door knob

• 2 hinges

• 1 hose rack

• 4 cup hooks

• 3 large tool hangers

• Quick Dry Waterborne Primer Undercoat. Parsley, lustacryl semi-gloss waterborne enamel

Cost: $40 excluding Resene products.

Step 1

Depending on what tools you want to hang, you can customise your pallet to suit. For my tool rack, I removed a top deck board to create a cavity for a long narrow cupboard on the left side of the middle stringer and a shelf on the right side of the middle stringer.

Step 2

I trimmed down the deck board to make shelves.

Step 3

I used a deck board from another pallet to make a cupboard door.

Step 4

Paint, then attach hooks and hangers to hold your garden tools.
